Associate
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate to join our media consulting team. The Associate will play a key role in data analysis, research, and client presentations, contributing insights that drive strategic media decisions. This position requires a foundation in data analytics, business communication, and storytelling, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Support Project Lead during the project, with research, data gathering, problem-solving and presentation sketching
Being responsible for a specific workstream during the project
Data Analysis and Visualization
Conduct thorough data collection, structuring, and analysis to provide actionable insights.
Utilize tools such as Excel, Flourish, Datawrapper, and thinkCell to analyze and present data effectively.
Interpret data from Google Analytics, social media platforms, YouTube analytics, and SEO tools to assess performance and impact.
Market Research and Financial Analysis
Perform market research, including competitive analysis, market sizing, and trend forecasting.
Assist in basic financial modeling, creating P&L statements, cash flow analyses, and balance sheets as needed.
Present findings to clients in a clear, structured manner that supports their business objectives.
Presentation and Communication Skills
Sketch and design presentations in PowerPoint to deliver insights with clarity and impact.
Craft compelling narratives using business writing and storytelling to communicate research findings.
Develop presentations that adapt content for various audiences, effectively translating complex data into actionable insights.
Strategy and Capacity-building Support
Support senior consultants in developing media strategies for clients.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions with data-backed ideas and innovative approaches.
Conduct interviews and engage with clients to gather information relevant to project goals.
Tool Proficiency
Excel for data analysis and basic financial modeling
PowerPoint for presentation design
Google Analytics and social media analytics tools for performance tracking
Flourish, Datawrapper, and thinkCell for data visualization and report preparation
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Media, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field
Strong skills in problem-solving, data analysis, data visualization, and market research
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on business writing and storytelling
Knowledge of SEO, YouTube analytics, social media analysis, and website performance tracking
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Areas of Expertise
Social Media: Proficient in analyzing social media metrics and identifying actionable insights.
Website and SEO Analytics: Experience in analyzing website and search engine performance.
YouTube Analytics: Skilled in video performance analysis to assess audience engagement.
Finance: Basic understanding of financial modeling and analysis.
Organizational Development: Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
